Even though I already have a Windows record engine running on the network, I found that Flex 4K will use the local record engine for live TV buffering according to logs. But that's your moneyĪlso, Flex 4K is already a record engine. I'd say that using a NVMe drive for DVR is a waste as it quickly wears out the flash memory due to repeated write cycles.
